		<description>Our task was to create mass awareness around the launch of Optus 4G. We needed a concept that would champion the new network and improve the perception of the Optus brand as a whole. The launch of Optus 4G was timed to coincide with the launch of the iPhone 5.

So we created an integrated campaign that was visually arresting and fun. We achieved massive exposure through digital, outdoor, digital-outdoor, and print

It should be noted that the "Optus Cube" is a visual mnemonic device (representing Optus and what it provides), which is required by Optus to be in all ads.



Rich-media / Interactive banner

The interactive banner allows people to take full control of the Optus Cube to deliver the 4G experience onto our talent. - Basically you get to leaf-blow a guy’s face. Awesome.

The average Optus 4G banner interactive time of 18.86 seconds was over 200% longer than the industry standard average of 9.31.

		<description>One in four Americans use Google Voice Search on their mobiles, but in Australia, 
the numbers were far lower. We needed an idea that encouraged trial by showing Australians that the product worked with Aussie accents. 

To do this we created a series of acoustic experiments testing the product under extreme conditions. 

Using a pair of Whisper dishes (a.k.a. Parabolic Mirrors), a Transducer (underwater communication system) and an Android phone, the experiments were conducted 
in some of Australia’s most iconic environments – The Australian Outback and 
The Great Barrier Reef.

Consumers and Google fans were engaged via social media to participate in the experiments by submitting questions they would like asked. We received thousands 
of submissions on Facebook!

Finally, a YouTube channel was created to host the web films. In just 14 days, 
it became the most viewed YT channel in Australia, with over 3 million views. 
By the end of the campaign, the number was nearly 5 million.
